The superfast


That's what I call my superfood-filled breakfast! When I say every bite was bursting with flavor, I mean it. I don't buy pomegranate often, but when I do, it's certainly a special treat :) Without it, the smoothie would have been bland and a bit bitter because of the cocoa. But the tangy sweet pomegranate seeds with each spoonful of my SIAB was fabulous.


The Superfast - Superfood Smoothie in a Bowl {SIAB}

To blend:

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 tsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp protein powder

  • 3 cherries (seeds removed)

  • P.S. I used a hand blender! A little chunky, but does the trick! :)

To top:

  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

  • 1 tsp coconut flakes


I also had two small bites of Wasa crispbread with almond butter and coconut flakes. And my tummy was happy :)
