Remember when I raved about my grandma's cabbage pierog?? [Russian version of calzone or pie perhaps?] Well, it was exactly 4 weeks ago and also the night before an exam! This wasn't even planned, but my restless tummy was surely pleased with tonight's meal.
Cabbage pierog, salad, potato-and-peas salad ("Salad Olivier")... and apple piergojok ("little pierog" with apple filling) for dessert! I'm short for time, so recipe will be included later! Hope you are all having a good night! The weekend is almost here! (wow, the week flew by...)
And to keep my brain (hopefully) working, I packed a snack for the night! Dark chocolate chips, pistachios, and almonds. Good-for-your-brain antioxidants and omega-3s.
