Today's dinner was a real treat - pierog (Russian version of a pie) with cabbage.
Earlier, I declared my love for tomatoes and eggplant. Now is time to declare my love for cabbage. I say, it's a Russian thing!
...Or the fact that, according to my mom, that's where she found me! My brother, on the other hand, came from the potato field. :)
After a generous bowl of salad, I dug into the pierog. Fresh out of the oven, I served it with a side of homemade strawberry-cranberry preserves.
With a cup of green tea - for an antioxidant boost to fight off the stress caused by this exam week!
